Dec. 20, 2012 -- San Lorenzo Creek Watershed Task Force Final Report
The final report and recommendations of the San Lorenzo Creek Watershed Task Force, created by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors in 2007, was presented to the board's Transportation and Planning Committee at its meeting Nov. 5, 2012. The June 27, 2011 report had earlier been considered by the county planning commission, which had disagreed with certain recommendations.

The board committee directed the county's Public Works Agency to proceed with amending the county's Watercourse Protection Ordinance in keeping with the recommendations of the task force and planning commission. The Planning Department was directed to take relevant recommendations into consideration in the implementation of policies and programs pertaining to watercourses in the county's general plan.
